Well over a 1,000 of these boats were built over nearly 20years. The first models had a wide transom well that could accommodate twin outboards. One example called "Penny Pride" was modified to be used for class 3 offshore racing with a modified cabin in ply. This had twin Crecent 55hp outboards!Later versions of the boat were known as the M17. The side decks terminated at the main bulkhead to produve a full width cockpit. The stern well was also modified to accept one outboard. After Marina ceased trading in 1979 the moulds were used to produce the Arran 17. I am grateful to Alf Beharie for the imformation.
