Senior Boat Information

Senior marine started in 1963 in Romsey in Hampshire. The company was set up by Dick sparrow who was the founder of Seamaster Boats. (He also co developed the Elysian with Hugh Easton at Appleyard and Lincoln of Ely) His first designs were the Senior 31 and 32,s which were a stretched version of the Elysian 27. Hugh Easton joined Senior marine in 1964 to set up a factory moulding in Brightlinsea Essex were the Senior 26 was moulded. Over the next few years 17ft, 20ft and the popular 23 were produced. Senior then moved back to Hampshire where Hugh easton took over. The moulds went on to be used by Marine Projects which became Princess, Eastwood boats and RLM. Senior marine were responsible for a huge number of production boats in the late 60,s and 70's.
