We are therefore asking all mooring customers not to visit their boats other than to retrieve essential items, like medication and providing we are notified in advance.
The marina office and workshops will continue to operate with minimal staff in order to provide ensure that the marina and boats remains safe and secure, and to provide necessary assistance.
This is a truly extraordinary situation and in fact it is the only time its 76 years that the boatyard has needed to close its doors.
Please feel assured that we will do everything we can to make sure that the marina and boats are in a ready state once the government are able to relax the rules.
In consideration, all workshop jobs that have been completed to date will be invoiced on extended payment terms. All cosmetic work (canopy cleaning, compounding and cleaning) not yet completed will be put on hold. Outstanding engineering and boatbuilding jobs will progress with reduced staff to enable those boats to be used once the situation changes.
If you require anything urgent you can phone or email the marina office
We will keep you updated when we know more
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this difficult situation.
