Houghton Lock Closure- Reopened 20/03/2017

Please note these closures are for winter works and as such the dates may change as a result of river conditions.

Marina News & Water Levels

    14th March 2017 11am

    Water Levels generaly normal but flows are above normal so expect some stretches to be higher eg. St.Ives to Earith.

    Head Room St.Ives Lock 2.9m and Hermitage Lock 2.45m but levels are fluctuating, for Hermitage ring the lock keeper 01487 841548.

    14th March 2017

    Please note that the coming weekend is the last before we crane all boats back into the water.

    Make sure all fenders and ropes are fitted by the 20/03/2017 and remind any friends.

    We will not allow access to this area on Tuesday the 21st, untill the crane has left the site and it will take us to the end of the week to get boats back onto there stages.
