Shetland 27 Information
This craft was a development of the Norman 266/Bates Astral/Atlanta 27, but featured a much more modified superstructure.
The interior is light and modern offering accommodation for 4 people. The advanced presentation usually includes hot water, shower, fridge, heating and bow thrusters. The boat is produced in 2 forms, inboard shaft driven diesel, usually Yanmar or more recently, an outboard version as featured. The extra space within the cabin produces an extra double berth under the cockpit. The craft came with folding screens to reduce air draft.
This well priced cruiser has proved particularly popular. A 29ft version of this craft I due to be launched in 2010.
