The Pace boat company were based in Pleasley, Nottingham, and several of the staff had previously worked for Birchwood. The boat was based on the Norman 22 wide beam, and was only in production for a short time. The aim of the company was to produce a modern equivalent to the Freeman 23. The boat was particularly popular on the Great River Ouse as the then selling agent Buckden Maria offered a new boat with every lodge sold! The craft had hot water, shower and fridge. The 4 berth configuration includes a cuddy cabin extending underneath the cockpit. The most common instillation was a 4 cylinder Volvo petrol with outdrive.
Standing headroom in cabin is 5ft 9ins. Length of V berth 6ft.
