Hereward 30

These  craft were produced by Bridge boatyard at Ely with design help from Hugh Easton.( Elysian 27 and Senior Marine fame) The concept was to create a low profile boat for Fenland use ,but with plenty of headroom and space. This was achieved by incorperating a wide keel profile which the the forecabin flooring dropped into to create headroom. The hull profile also provided excellent slow speed handling.Bridge boat yard successfully ran several of these boats as hire craft and a few have now gone into private ownership.Anglo Welsh boat hire also bought a few craft for their own hire fleet, which they ran from Earith Cambs.
