Shadow boats originally were built in Southampton by Victoria Marine of Warsash on the Hamble in Southampton. This manufacturer changed radically from traditional sailing boats to very modern motor boats. they built the sadow range until 1993. The moulds were then taken over and the craft was built in Wroxham, Norfolk for a while.
